Introducing Max Maths - Making Real-World Connections

Our brand new, ground-breaking series for Caribbean primary schools, Max Maths – Making Real-World Connections, is here!

The seven-level series supports the new OECS Learning Standards for Mathematics, developing core skills whilst helping learners to become confident, curious, resourceful and proficient mathematicians.

Three key themes lie at the heart of Max Maths – Making Real-World Connections:

  1. Rich mathematical experiences: A Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach is used to enrich learning;
  2. Depth of understanding: Using activities with a range of questioning techniques, and
  3. Positivity towards mathematics, which enables learners to experience and share their enjoyment in the subject.

These are brought to life with engaging tasks, vibrant colours, and a series of six characters who learn alongside students, helping them to connect their learning with real-world situations.

Comprised of a Student’s Book and Workbook for Grades 2-6 and a combined Student’s Workbook for Grade K and Grade 1, full teacher support is provided through free Online Teacher’s Guides for each Grade.

All titles will be live on our website soon, but in the mean time, get your hands on a sneak peek by checking out our samples below:
